Some of Australia's finest talent are coming together for a huge benefit show to raise money for bushfire relief.

The benefit, which is dubbed Down To Earth - A Fire and Climate Relief Concert, is set to take place at Melbourne's Sidney Myer Music Bowl on 26 February with Angus & Julia Stone, Gang Of Youths, Briggs, Tash Sultana, Jack River, Ruby Fields and Thelma Plum on the line-up.

Funds raised by the show will be donated to Red Cross and WIRES to provide funds for fire relief, as well as going to organisations including Emergency Leaders For Climate Action, Foundation For Rural & Regional Renewal and Firesticks Alliance Indigenous Corporation (Firesticks).

"Collectively, our hearts go out to the families who have lost loved ones, the firies who have put their lives on the line and continue to, and the communities across Australia suffering," reads a joint statement from the artists.

"We hope to give you the greatest thing we can in this time of great need - our voices and our songs."

"We believe a holistic response to fire relief and future protection is what the youth of Australia are calling for. As well as immediate fire relief, we value the long term needs of small communities, the knowledge of First Nations people, and the need for climate action."
