Game Of Thrones author George R.R Martin and star of the cult TV series Peter Dinklage (who plays Tyrion Lannister) will be appearing at the Sydney Opera House this November to discuss the transition of the book onto the small screen.
While the books were a well-known fantasy series previously, the show has become one of the most watched/torrented/Facebooked/Tweeted/spoilered shows of the internet age. Their announcement of their appearance, which takes place in con junction with the Supernova sci-fi conferences, comes just weeks after the internet community went into global meltdown after a recent episode [beware, spoilers at that link, and there's a rebuttal here].
