Galactic Added To Caloundra Music Festival

New Orleans modern funk masters Galactic have this morning been announced as a special addition to the Caloundra Music Festival bill for 2012. The band were last in Australia for the Byron Bay Bluesfest where they proceeded to win over thousands of fans with their incredible live show and their addition to the Caloundra line up is a big one. There is no word yet on further tour dates. We can announce that Galactic will play three sets over the weekend, appearing at the festival each day it is running.

The festival has already announced fellow New Orleans modern funk heroes Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue and promise that there are more bands to be announced early next week.

The festival takes place in Caloundra's Kings Beach Park precinct from Friday 28 September to Sunday 30. Tickets are on sale now.
