Armin Van Buuren is the first name announced
The Australian-based Future Music Festival will be heading to Asia next year with Armin Van Buuren's A State Of Trance show to headline the Malaysian event.
The festival – which will feature some overlap with the Australian line-up – will take at the Sepang International Circuit and hopes to attract 40,000 people, after crowds of 25,000 turned out in March this year. It will take place Friday 15 and Saturday 16 March, with Armin Van Burren playin on the Friday.
Today Future Entertainment's Australian Director Mark James said, “With us having already announced our line-up in Australia, what I can reveal for now without giving away too much about the rest of the Future Music Festival Asia 2013 line-up is that it will feature some of the key performers from our festival in Australia. So our fans in this part of the region can expect some really big names.”
The full line-up for the Asian extension of the festival will be announced Tuesday 6 November at a press conference. Until then, you can visit the website.
