"I'm honestly still speechless over the response we had when we played in January."

My Chemical Romance alumni and solo artist in his own right, Frnkiero has come through with his promise of a full set of Australian tour dates in 2016, having played a few free acoustic shows this January in the advent of Soundwave's cancellation.

Now going by the moniker Frnkiero andthe Patience., Iero says of the October sojourn, "I'm honestly still speechless over the response we had when we played in January. I was really bummed when Soundwave got cancelled, so to have been able to come to Australia anyway and do it on our terms to such an overwhelming response was beyond a dream come true. It was amazing."

With his debut solo record Stomachaches in tow, the six-date tour will stop nationally and will see the band bring along Rival Schools founding member and songwriter Walter Schreifels along as a support act. Iero says of his tourmate, "I asked Walter to play this tour with us because I want to watch him play every night and it will be an honor to be able to share those stages with him."

The tour will kick off in Perth on 7 October, before heading to Brisbane's The Triffid, Adelaide's The Gov, Melbourne's Corner Hotel and Arrow On Swanston and finally Sydney's Metro Theatre.
