Renowned heavy metal and punk drummer Jay Weinberg is selling memorabilia from his periods touring with Slipknot and Bruce Springsteen, and it’s for a good cause.

Weinberg is selling drum kits, stage-worn masks and outfits, signed drumheads and studio-used drumsticks, tour posters, and other collectibles, some of which were designed by the drummer himself.

The items will be sold on his Reverb store, with a portion of the proceeds going to music industry charity MusiCares. According to Consequence of Sound, MusiCares is a non-profit organisation that offers health services, addiction support, and financial assistance to musicians in the US.

Across 17 years, Weinberg has performed and toured with Slipknot, Suicidal Tendencies, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Against Me!, Infectious Grooves, Madball, and many other bands.

Reverb notes that Weinberg is selling the drum kit he used on Bruce Springsteen’s 2009 Working On A Dream World Tour, in addition to fully customised SJC kits he played with Slipknot, plus snares, cymbals, drum thrones, and more.

From 2014 to late 2023, Weinberg served as the drummer of Slipknot, replacing Joey Jordison. The band later hired former Sepultura drummer Eloy Casagrande. In 2024, he joined Infectious Grooves – an offshoot of Suicidal Tendencies – and later became a member of Suicidal Tendencies.

In January, he departed Suicidal Tendencies after nearly 18 months of touring. At the time, he said that working on other projects and expecting a child with his wife, Chloe Weinberg, were motivating factors in the decision.

In November, Weinberg dropped his first-ever solo single, Sandstone featuring Deafheaven vocalist George Clarke. The track comes from the drummer’s debut EP. A new single, Drone Operator (feat. NOWHERE2RUN), lands today.

Discussing Sandstone, Weinberg told Wall Of Sound, “It’s the first song I’ve ever released under my own name, and it’s the first song in a series of collaborations, an EP that I have that’s in various stations of completion, but that I’m hoping to have out in the early part of 2026.”
