Former band manager, promoter and radio host, Clive Miller has been announced as the new CEO of charity organisation Support Act.
Miller, who managed The Go-Betweens and Aussie pop band Ups And Downs in the ‘80s, takes over from Joanna Cave, who announced her departure earlier this year to explore her creative roots.
With a wealth of experience under his belt, Miller was also briefly Development Manager for Yothu Yindi Foundation.

“I am honoured to have been chosen to lead Support Act through the next phase of its development,” Miller said.
“I started my career in the music industry, working as a broadcaster, promoter and manager so I can strongly identify with the critical need to provide crisis support to artists and music workers.
“I look forward to reconnecting with many old friends and colleagues and to building on the great work that has been done over the past years by Jo Cave, the Board and staff of Support Act, and its many donors and supporters.”
Miller will take up the role from May 21.
