A few of the luckier members of theMusic.com.au team will be leading a life of loud bands, delicious tacos and tamales, Shiner Bock and incessant networking as they hit Austin for the annual South by Southwest conference and showcase series.

You can expect plenty of pictures, reviews, news and interviews from the ground at SxSW starting from tomorrow morning, as our team dodge the swag of an endless stream of street teamers and jostle for position in the hottest clubs for the best shows the city offers throughout the event.

They kicked off at the massive Big Day Out/Sounds Australia event today, where the mighty 360 gave a performance and mentioned that he had just one goal for South by Southwest this year.

“I'm bringing the word 'cunt' to America,” he said. “By the time I leave the word 'cunt' will be part of the vocabulary.”
