Flume's New EP Scores High Debut On US Charts

OK Flume, we get it — you're a big deal.

After owning the ARIA Awards last month with five gongs AND nabbing two Grammy nominations this week, the Sydney producer's hot streak shows no signs of slowing down as his new EP, Skin Companion EP 1, has had a solid debut on the US charts. 

The four-track offering has debuted at #3 on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart, while new singles Trust and Heater have come in at #34 and #44 respectively on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. 

Meanwhile, Flume's ARIA-winning and Grammy nominated LP, Skin, has jumped up on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart from #13 to #10, likewise with his hit single, Never Be Like You, which has climbed from #10 to #9 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.

Staying on Aussie dance acts, Empire Of The Sun are still enjoying success in the US following the release of their third studio album, Two Vines.

The Sydney duo's record has increased its placing last week from #7 to #6 on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart, while lead single High & Low has also been given a bump on a few lists. 

The popular track has jumped from #30 to #25 on the Top Rock Songs chart, #16 to #11 on the Dance Club Songs chart, #20 to #17 on the Rock Airplay chart and #22 to #21 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
