Flume, Violent Soho, Courtney Barnett, Alex Lahey & More Score 2016 J Award Noms

Triple J's prestigious J Awards is back in 2016 and it has predictably delivered the best of the best yet again, with some of the country's biggest names scoring nominations, as well as a slew of up-and-coming acts, including Flume, Courtney Barnett, Violent Soho, Alex Lahey, Montaigne, The Avalanches and many more.

Now in its 12th year, the J Awards honour the best Australian talent and celebrate their originality, creativity and technical excellence, as well as their innovative video representations. 

Winners will be announced at the event and broadcast live on triple j from 4pm on Thursday, 17 November.
