WAMCON has delivered the first taste of its epic 2018 event, today confirming its first batch of speakers, sessions and events.
Confirmed to appear at the conference, taking place at Western Australia's State Theatre Centre from Friday 2 — Saturday 3 November includes US figure and The Music District director, Jesse Elliott, Chugg Entertainment General Manager, Susan Heymann, Footstomp Music Director, Graham Ashton, mixer and engineer, Anna Laverty, Girls Rock! Melbourne's Shannon Driscoll, Bandcamp Australia's Will Evans and creative coordinator at Propel Youth Arts WA, Zal Kanga-Parabia.
The full speaker line-up is expected to boast 30-plus names by the time the November event comes to town.
Meanwhile, punters heading along will be treated to a string of panels and masterclasses, including tips for artists and songwriters on managing their creative processes, the fundamentals of music publicity, how musicians can get their songs on the radio and one-on-one sessions with music industry heavyweights.
