Check out this week's ARIA charts!
The live compilation CD from last month’s Fire Fight Australia bushfire relief concert has proven to be a huge success, today debuting at #1 on the ARIA Albums chart.
Beating former One Direction member Niall Horan in the race to #1 (who came in at #2 with Heartbreak Weather), Artists Unite For Fire Fight: Concert For National Bushfire Relief features Alice Cooper, Queen + Adam Lambert, kd lang, Amy Shark and every other artist from the event and was released in an effort to raise funds for young Australians affected in bushfire communities.
It seems punters are throwing their support behind local acts releasing albums amid the coronavirus crisis, with a handful of Aussie releases storming the top 20, including Adam Brand’s Speed Of Life (#6), Ocean Grove’s Flip Phone Fantasy (#8), Funny Lumsden’s Fallow (#10) and Kingswood’s Juveniles (#14).
