Fender's Iconic Jazzmaster Model Celebrates Its 60th Birthday With Some New Editions

And many morrrreeee....

Fender's legendary Jazzmaster is hitting a milestone birthday and to celebrate the historical moment they're releasing three limited edition 2018 models.

Bursting into the pop culture lexicon back in 1958, the model was originally intended to be an ideal tool for jazz musicians before becoming a go-to favourite for artists like Elvis Costello, Paul Dempsey, Sonic Youth's Lee Ranaldo, Violent Soho's James Tidswell and many more.

Original '58 Jazzmaster

To mark the auspicious occasion Fender is releasing a trio of new editions the Original ‘58 Jazzmaster, Triple Jazzmaster and Classic Jazzmaster.

“The Jazzmaster is the little engine that could. It didn’t follow its original destiny to be a jazz guitar, but found a niche on the creative cutting edge and maintains significant popularity today as we celebrate its 60th anniversary,” Senior Vice President, Fender Products Justin Norvell said.

Classic Jazzmaster

Whether it’s surf, ‘90s punk rock or alternative music, the Jazzmaster has remained the guitar of choice, pushing music forward into uncharted territory.”

The '58 Jazzmaster is available now with the Triple and Classic becoming available from September 2018. For more information, head to the official Fender website.
