It's pretty well-known that the next big thing often comes out of BIGSOUND. This year you've got the chance to own a little piece of music history and support a well-deserving Aussie charity at the same time.

Thanks to our friends at Fender, we've got a guitar to be auctioned off to raise money for Support Act. Even better, the guitar will be signed by each and every guest who join Dave and Neil on The Music Podcast this week while they record live from BIGSOUND.

These are acts that could well and truly become the next wave of Aussie music icons and you'll be getting in early with this priceless piece of music memorabilia.

The guitar is a Fender Stratocaster — you know, the type that likes of Eric Clapton, Billy Corgan, Jimi Hendrix and George Harrison all are famous for playing — and is valued at over $2,000.

Support Act are a great local charity that work with artists and those working in the music industry during times of crisis. Founded in 1997, the charity offers financial relief, advice and practical assistance to those in the industry.

The auction will be live this Friday via Support Act's eBay page. We'll be sharing updates of the signed guitar via our Instagram throughout the week.
