Check out some of the upcoming releses in the rock/indie world below:

Foo Fighters - TBA

The Fooeys are working on a follow-up to the brilliant 'Wasting Light' which Dave Grohl claims will be created "in a way that no one has ever done before." Butch Vig is back on board as the producer and Wallflowers keyboardist Rami Jaffee has already recorded parts for three of the thirteen songs the group has written, so expect plenty more info on the Foo's eighth album to follow.

Beck - 'Morning Phase'

Beck will be returning in 2014 with his twelfth record 'Morning Phase' due out around February. We last heard from Beck back in 2008 with 'Modern Guilt,' the songwriter has mentioned in various interviews that a return to his acoustic based ballad style should be expected from the new material and the fact that he is working with the same crew and musicians from his 'Sea Change' album means this would make sense.

Lana Del Ray - 'Ultra Violence'

Love her or hate her, Lana Del Ray releasing a new album will be a big deal, and you will hear plenty about it, so let this be your first piece of info: it will be called 'Ultra Violence' and Del Ray says this is a Clock Work Orange reference. Brace yourself for more woeful TV performances from Lana Del Ray in 2014.

Jamie XX - TBA

It could be an album or it could be a mixtape, either way something full length will be coming our way from Jamie XX in 2014. The only definite about the project so far is that it will feature Four Tet and the other members of The XX and that we may have already heard some of the stuff from it in some form.

Broken Bells - 'After the Disco'

Finally following up their 2010 release, Broken Bells, the collaborative project from Danger Mouse and Shins frontman James Mercer, have announced their second album 'After the Disco' which should be released sometime near the end of January. The record has been called "the perfect soundtrack for the morning after" suggesting it will be relatively mellow.

Tool - TBA

Let's take it with a grain of salt as the band are well known for not sticking to any sort of deadlines however Tool drummer Danny Carey has stated that an "early 2014" release is most likely for the group's fifth studio album, which is apparently recorded. Believe it when you hear it however.

Foxes - 'Glorious'

Fresh from working with Fall Out Boy, Foxes plans to release her debut album, titled 'Glorious' on March 3rd through RCA Records with whom she recently signed. The record will feature eleven tracks with a deluxe edition to include an extra five.

AC/DC - TBA

Considering the success of 'Black Ice,' why not make new music and tour the world again? Steven Tyler from Aerosmith even said he would take a pay cut to support them on tour so get your salute ready because ACDC will be back at some point in 2014 with a brand new record, which, according to all band members, has been recorded and is ready to go.

Guns N Roses - TBA

Keeping in mind how long it took to release 'Chinese Democracy' after it was initially promised, but Guns N Roses claim to be releasing a new record this year. A song titled Going Down was even leaked briefly online and interestingly enough only featured Axl Rose on back-up vocals with bass player Tommy Stinson on lead. Our guess is as good as yours on this one but there could be a new GnR record this year, or in fifteen.

Limp Bizkit - 'Stampede of The Disco Elephants'

After cutting DJ Lethal loose and signing to Lil Wayne's Cash Money Records, Limp Bizkit have announced that their seventh studio album will be titled 'Stampede of The Disco Elephants,' and it will be released early this year. If the couple of previews that the band have offered on the record so far are anything to go by however, hopes should not be too high for anything good.
