The frontman of UK outfit Fat White Family has confirmed that the group's guitarist and founding member has left the band.

Recently in Australia for Splendour In The Grass, it was alleged by some fans that Saul Adamczewski had quit Fat White Family as he did not make the trip over.

At the time, promoters told theMusic that Adamczewski pulled out of the tour for personal reasons, however speaking on Beats 1 (via NME), singer Lias Saoudi confirmed the news.

The band will play their biggest show to date next month at London's O2 Academy Brixton, which Adamczewski will take part in, before he splits, with Saoudi saying, "The future will be whatever it will be".

"I'd like to continue regardless," he continued.

"Me and my brother are still writing all the time and [we'll] just get on with it, job as usual.

Saoudi went on to say that Adamczewski could still have a future in Fat White Family.

"We're not at each other's throats or anything like that," he said.

"It was a very turbulent time and there was a huge amount of pressure on both of us and it took a bit of a toll on our relationship.

"But we're still friends and I can envisage us working on things together in the future. I'm not ruling that one out and it's no kind of diabolical split. It's just time, pressure and fulfilling your obligations, and there's too many of those."

Fat White Family also just dropped new single Breaking Into Aldi this week. Give it a listen below.
