Fan Girl Announce Single Launch Shows

Their second single released before their second show. Coincidence?

Melbourne newcomers Fan Girl have just released their latest single, Disappear, off their upcoming debut album and to celebrate, they'll perform some headline shows next month.

They'll be playing The Gasometer Hotel on 1 Sep, with support from Dreamcoat and Tom Prettys, before moving up to NSW to play Bank Hotel on 2 Sep and Newtown Social Club on 4 Sep.

The track was written while the band was still just a concept. Disappear features a noisy intro leading into a vaguely Arabic-style riff, thumping bassy verses, a cymbal-smashing chorus, Revolver-era Beatles harmonies and lyrics that create the feeling of chasing after a lost cause.
