"We intend on making it up to you only at a time when things are safe for ALL of us."
Faith No More have announced a further postponement of their Australian tour.
The US rock group were originally due to tour the country in May this year before postponing to February 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tour will now take place in February 2022.
The band have released a statement about the postponement today.
"Once again in this world of things being temporarily out of our control, we are having to postpone our AU/NZ dates," they said.
"Postponed and not cancelled being the silver lining here and we’re grateful for that. We intend on making it up to you only at a time when things are safe for ALL of us.
"Until then, thanks for sticking this out with us and take care. We’re all in this together and when it happens we promise to make it special."

Melbourne group RVG will remain as support throughout the tour.
Fans are encouraged to hold onto their tickets, with "all original purchases are valid for entry at the rescheduled show dates".
Additionally, "Ticketholders will be contacted directly via their show’s authorised ticketing agency regarding these date changes; steps will be provided should the new February 2022 dates not suit".
Faith No More’s return to Australia will mark their first headline tour of the country in over 20 years.
Speaking to The Music earlier this year, bass player Billy Gould said that the band were excited to be returning to Australia.
“Absolutely!” he said. “We came a lot, really. Even though it’s been a long time, we’ve done some festivals over the past 20 years. It was very strange to realise we haven’t done our own tour since 1997 so that’s almost 20 years, that’s crazy!
“And considering how many memories I have of touring Australia, it’s really odd to think about it like that.”
