In the music industry, The Beards have a monopoly on facial real estate. Lucky for Sydneysiders, your appreciation of The Beards' facial hair on the Strokin' My Beard tour can be forever immortalised.

The quartet have announced they'll be filming their Sydney show this Friday, 17 April at The Metro for their DVD release, which frontman Johann Beardraven says they're hoping to release "later this year".

The gang are kicking off their tour tonight in Newcastle at Bar On The Hill, after which Beardraven, John Beardman Jr, Nathaniel Beard and Facey McStubblington will tour the country, finally getting some privacy with their beards after their last show in Perth at Capitol Bar on Saturday, 9 May. 

The band will be supported by The Stiffys and Surprise Wasp this Friday. Get in quick, as tickets have not yet sold out!
