Extra Dates Added To Jimmy Barnes' 'DEFIANT' Australian Tour

Jimmy Barnes’ massive 2025 DEFIANT tour has grown, announcing additional dates for Melbourne and Brisbane this morning.

The Working Class Man singer has sold out shows in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, and Canberra. Extra dates have been announced for Melbourne’s Palais Theatre and Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall to meet demand. His shows in Adelaide and Perth are also selling fast.

The new dates will take place a day before the already-sold out dates in both cities – Friday, 13 June (Melbourne), and Friday, 20 June (Brisbane).

Frontier Members can access pre-sale tickets for the new shows on Wednesday, 19 March, at 2 pm local time before the general sale opens on Thursday, 20 March, at 3 pm local time. Fans can also purchase tickets at the same time via Barnes’ mailing list.

Barnes is touring in support of his forthcoming album, DEFIANT, which will be released on Friday, 6 June, via Mushroom Music. He kicked off the release by sharing the double single, New Day (starring Australian country music icon Troy Cassar-Daley) and Beyond The River Bend.

Prior to the new album, Barnes had already locked in an impressive, unprecedented 21 #1 albums on the ARIA Albums Chart – 15 as a solo artist and six with Cold Chisel – and with DEFIANT and the corresponding tour on the way, his star is set to shine even brighter.
