RedHookEmerging Aussie outfit RedHook will hit Brisbane for BIGSOUND this week with some serious momentum, today announcing they've signed an international deal.
The Music can exclusively reveal that the Sydney self-described screaming rap-rock electro-pop mutants have signed a booking agency deal with UK-based Paradigm Agency (formerly Coda Agency), the same company that looks after Billie Eilish, The 1975, Halsey and Rise Against.
"The promoter for Download UK sent me the track Paralysed and I was hooked from there," Paradigm Agency Ryan Penty said.
"RedHook are everything I look for in a band; catchy, heavy, full of energy and huge potential.
"The songs sound even better live and I can’t wait to get them back over to this side of the world!”
RedHook vocalist Emmy Mack added, "We're beyond stoked to be listed under the 'R' section of Paradigm's absolutely bitchin' roster, alphabetically falling somewhere between Redfoo and Rise Against.
"To share a booking agency with icons like Billie Eilish, Halsey, The 1975 and The Prodigy is completely bonkers to us, and we're even more fortunate to be being looked after by the power duo of young hotshot Ryan Penty and veteran legend Geoff Meall, who are both professional mavericks and wonderful humans to boot. Can't wait to get back over there and cause some trouble!"
