A new boutique PR agency has officially launched today, with a focus on both international and local artists.
Evergreen Artists is the brainchild of local musician Michael McKiernan, who plays in Gympie-formed outfit Red Beard and already boasts a couple of well-known names to its diverse roster including Florida rockers The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and acclaimed MC Sage Francis.
McKiernan said the Melbourne-based agency, which provides publicity, bookings and management consultaion services, "takes a holistic approach to publicity, assisting our artists with tour bookings and management consultation to help develop sustainable careers."
"Evergreen Artists is a PR agency by musicians, for musicians. We understand the blood, sweat & tears (and cash) that go into producing, promoting and touring a record, so you know that we are fighting for you to be heard," he added.
The agency is also looking after Ohio natives Hawthorn Heights and locals Sea Legs, Mar Haze, Centre & The South and Wren.
