"I've never been more excited about the talent that is coming from Australia and this venue is a place where we can celebrate it."
Sydney's Oxford Circus is set to undergo a huge revamp, as we can exclusively reveal hat the venue will host live music seven nights a week under new management.
The Oxford Street-venue, which opened just last year, is now to be run by former A&R Manager for Universal Music Australia, Chris White, who has also already scored a 3am license for all nights of the week.
"I am so excited to give the people of Sydney another nightlife destination with a truly diverse offering within it’s three bespoke levels of bars," White tells The Music.
"Having spent the better part of ten years supporting the musical endeavours of artists, I am super excited to now have a space for them to showcase their talents to the people of Sydney.

"Remembering how vibrant and fun Sydney nightlife used to be, I feel blessed to be in a position to dive in and support it by offering a truly bespoke venue. It is great to have a dynamic space that will allow artists to showcase their talents — whether it is musicians, acrobatics/circus/burlesque performers, electronic artist — this is the place for them."
Though the venue has in the past played host to the likes of Spit Syndicate, Hey Geronimo, The Stiffys and Body Type, Oxford Circus is to undergo a complete transformation with Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to feature all-star line-ups from bands, DJs and acoustic artists, while Thursdays will feature a curation of Australia's best acts.
Announcements for the venue's programme from Monday-Wednesday are expected to be confirmed soon.
Sam Sparro will kick off proceedings tonight, while burgeoning WA singer Teischa is slated in for tomorrow night.
White says that while the foundation of the Oxford Circus will remain unchanged, punters can expect a fresh perspective.
"Plus the operating standards have changed dramatically," he says.
"Week-to-week we will deliver an offering of the best music and culture. Our drinks offering will be next to none and we are delivering a place you will simply fall in love with."
White also added that he will continue to work with local council to ensure Sydney's contentious lockout laws don't impact operations.
"The lockout laws are tough, but by working with local council I am sure that we can bring some of the spark back in to the Sydney Nightlife.
"I've never been more excited about the talent that is coming from Australia and this venue is a place where we can celebrate it - with a drink in hand!"
