Band sign deal with Inertia
Melbourne alt-rock band Bonjah will release their third album Beautiful Wild in April under a new deal with indie label Inertia.
Their first album in three years, the four-piece have long threatened to break out into national recognition and have taken their time to get their latest effort right. Recorded with Jan Skubiszewski (Way Of The Eagle and Empire Of The Sun collaborator), the album was written across an 18-month period.
Tracks Evolution and Blue Tone Black Heart were released last year while the latest single Honey is currently at radio. The album's title track featuring backing vocals from former Killing Heidi frontwoman turned solo performer and presenter Ella Hooper.
Due out Friday 18 April through Inertia, the band will be playing an album launch show Friday 9 May at Melbourne's Corner Hotel – where they will play it through in its entirety. A full tour will follow in August/September.
