Ethel Cain Announces 2026 Australian Tour

American storyteller Ethel Cain has heard the calls of her fans in Australia and New Zealand, extending her sold-out Willoughby Tucker Forever tour and heading Down Under in 2026.

Hayden Silas Anhedönia, who performs as Ethel Cain, made her Australian tour debut in 2023. She performed in-demand shows as part of Vivid LIVE at the Sydney Opera House, Forum Upstairs as part of Melbourne’s RISING, Hobart’s Odeon Theatre as part of Dark Mofo, and at Brisbane’s QPAC Theatre.

In February 2026, Cain will make her return to Australia and make her New Zealand debut.

The tour begins at Auckland Town Hall on Saturday, 14 February, and continues with two nights at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre – Monday, 16 and Tuesday, 17 February – Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Saturday, 21 February, Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Wednesday, 25 February, and concludes at the Fremantle Arts Centre on Saturday, 28 February.

Ethel Cain is touring in support of her new album, Willoughby Tucker, I’ll Always Love You. Acting as a prequel to her adored 2022 debut album, Preacher’s Daughter, the album tells the story of Cain—the character—and her first love, Willoughby Tucker.

Cain produced and recorded the album over the past year in her studios in Alabama and Florida. The album spans the entirety of her career as Ethel Cain, with some of them dating back to the earliest days of the project’s inception and mythologising.

In March, Cain completely sold out her North American and European legs of the Willoughby Tucker Forever tour, selling over 170,000 tickets in a matter of weeks. The world tour begins today at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre.
