Eskimo Joe To Play 'Black Fingernails, Red Wine’ In Full At Special Hometown Gig

WA rockers Eskimo Joe have locked down an exclusive hometown show this May to play their acclaimed third studio LP, Black Fingernails, Red Wine, in full.

They’ll return to Fremantle on May 10 to play at new WA venue Freo.Social, with local legend Katy Steele, all in support of a special reissue of the 2006 release, which will be available on red vinyl, a 2CD deluxe edition and 40-track digital version.

“Over the years other albums that we've all been incredibly proud of have come and gone, but Black Fingernails, Red Wine stands out as that moment in time where the stars aligned and everyone became like one unit, all pulling in the same direction,” frontman Kav Temperley said.

“Recreating that moment, playing the album from start to finish is going to be a very special experience for us.”

The news comes after the band reissued Girl, Ghosts Of The Past and Inshalla on coloured vinyl and special edition CDs last year.
