The US heavyweights return Down Under for a run of shows this October
Hard-hitting US heroes Escape The Fate will ride the wave of buzz surrounding most recent album Hate Me all the way Down Under this October when their current world tour makes its way to local shores.
Since its release in October last year, Hate Me has yielded the beloved outfit their best ARIA Chart result to date, peaking at #32 (two places higher than its predecessor, 2013's Ungrateful), reflecting the consistent improvement the band has shown over their somewhat tumultuous existence.
That tumult, especially from a personnel standpoint (drummer Robert Ortiz is the sole remaining founding member these days), has seemingly done nothing to stop the march of the Escape The Fate machine around the globe. With recent singles such as Alive and Remember Every Scar helping to maintain the momentum, local fans can expect a face-melting, fist-pumping showing from the band when they kick off their Australian tour at The Triffid, in Brisbane, on Monday 3 October.
The local run also encompasses stops in Newcastle (Cambridge Hotel), Sydney (Manning Bar), Melbourne (Prince Bandroom), Adelaide (Fowlers Live, licensed/AA) and Perth, where they bring things to a close at the Amplifier Bar on Sunday 9 October.
