Electronic Music Conference Open Applications For Emerging Artists

The inagural Electronic Music Conference (EMC) has announced applications for their Emerging Artists Showcase program have now opened.

The showcase will give budding DJs and producers the chance to present their work in front of representatives from some of the biggest electronic labels in the country, including Modular, EMI, Future Entertainment and Fuzzy. To apply, email hello@electronicmusicconference.com with a brief bio, contact details and a link to your music online by Friday 2 November.

In other EMC news, MusicNSW have also announced the 2012 Quick Response Grant. This will provide financial support to any artists and managers attending the conference. Head here for further info and criteria details on the grant.

EMC will take place on Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 November at Jones Bar Wharf just days before the ARIA awards. International acts Tiesto and Diplo are two of the big name speakers who will be at the event.
