Electric Fields, Troy Cassar-Daley, Sarah Blasko & More Lead 2025 Woodford Folk Festival Line-up

Music-lovers' plans for the year-end period are slowly being firmed up, with the 38th edition of the Woodford Folk Festival unveiling its vast and eclectic line-up.

Taking place in Woodfordia, in the Moreton Bay region of Queensland, the six-day affair runs from December 27th, 2025 until January 1st, 2026, the annual event sees the area transformed into a vibrant celebration of music, culture and community.

This year sees the likes of 2024 Eurovision contestants Electric Fields being joined by a vast array of artists, including Troy Cassar-Daley, Sarah Blasko, Budjerah, Hollow Coves, BARKAA, Lior, and KUČKA.

More local acts join the bill, including Birdz and Fred Leone, San Cisco, Briggs, Mama Kin Spender, Gordi, Dizzy Days, Beddy Rays, and C.W. Stoneking, while a handful of international acts also front up, including South Africa’s Msaki, Canada’s Richard Wood, Kenyan percussionist Kasiva Matua, and Scotland’s Talisk.

According to organisers, more than 100,000 people are expected to attend the event, which also features a total of 1,500 performances and workshops across 20 venues, including trapeze by The Stunned Mullets, comedy from Otto & Astrid, and traditional rhythms from Papua New Guinea’s Ambum Cultural Group. 

“Woodford is a village of play, curiosity and renewal,” Festival Director Amanda Jackes said of the event. “In a world that can feel divided, the Festival reminds us that joy is never frivolous - it’s transformative.”
