Ed Kuepper Reschedules 2026 Australian Tour Dates

Just days before it was set to launch, Australian music icon Ed Kuepper has been forced to reschedule his forthcoming national tour.

First announced last month, the upcoming trek was scheduled to launch on July 30th as a way to celebrate Kuepper’s three new releases.

These forthcoming records include The Exploding Universe – Live, which was recorded at Melbourne’s National Theatre in 2023; a reissue of his fourth album, 1990’s Today Wonder; and a reissue of Autocannibalism, a 1992 record originally issued under The Aints moniker.

Though the albums are still scheduled to arrive this Friday, July 24th, Kuepper has pushed his live appearances back a few months.

“Friends, due to the badly broken ankle of yours truly we have been forced to move our Exploding Universe tour back a few weeks,” he announced. “The revised dates are below and all tickets already purchased are valid for the new shows with further tickets on-sale now.”

Alongside the rescheduled dates, Kuepper revealed that previously-planned shows for Coffs Harbour or Murwillumbah have had to be axed, though “we will aim to get back there in 2027”.

Likewise, the Sydney date has been altered from a one-off date at The Enmore Theatre to two shows; matinee and evening – seated and standing.

Tickets to these forthcoming shows are on sale now, and will see Kuepper supported by Michael Beach in solo format at all dates except Canberra. Pre-orders for Kuepper’s forthcoming records are also available now.
