Currently Australia’s capital of EDM music, Victoria welcomes a brand-new two-day event kitted out with your favourite beats, booze, and buzz.
Set to energize both Melbourne and Geelong, the new event titled echodelta will feature a high-octane atmosphere with the likes of FISHER, Eric Prydz, Fred again.., Knock 2, Skrillex, and Illenium to pulse through the speakers.
While the event may not feature such artists live (get real, Melbourne, you’ve already all seen Fred again.. live), expect Boiler Room vibes with hosting and DJing from triple j’s own Shantan Wantan Ichiban.
Claiming the title of triple j Disk Jockey and presenter, Ichiban is typically behind your Friday House Party mixes via the airwaves, alongside co-host Latifa Tee. He has also played festivals such as Splendour In The Grass and Lost Paradise, as well as several prominent nightclubs.
Described as playing “with a mix of everything from Hip Hop Edits to Disco Mash-Ups to Bumping House and Afro-Caribbean rhythms with a pinch of Jungle flavour”, you can expect a night of anything but boredom.
