Annual Victorian dance and electronic music festival Earthcore returns to the idyllic surrounds of Pyalong this November so, to start ramping up excitement nice and early, the organisers have revealed the first batch of acts set to grace the event later this year — and, man, it's a jaw-dropper.
More than 40 acts have been named in the first round alone — with more on the way — including (alphabetically) AES Dana, Ajja, Animato, Captain Hook, Carbon Based Life Forms, Danny Daze, Eat Static, Grouch, Kurkan Dub Lagan, Liquid Hook, Miss Kittin, Oskar Offermann, Outside The Universe, Phaxe, Pig & Dan, Sam Paganini, Sonic Species, Talamasca, U-Recken, Victor Ruiz, Vini Vici, X Noize and Zyce.
The seriously impressive cabal of acts will descend upon Pyalong — about 90 kilometres outside of Melbourne — for five days, from 26 November to 30 November. You've plenty of time to get organised, but don't sit on the decision of whether to attend — tickets are up for sale from 9am this Wednesday, 25 February, from $199+bf, via Earthcore's website. Prices will only remain at that level for a limited time, however — second-release passes will set you back $229+bf, third-release $259+bf, and fourth-release $289+bf.
