DZ Deathrays, Dear Seattle & More Team Up With Concert For BUGS’ Jordan Brunoli

Brisbane band BUGS are hosting a music festival in their home city to raise some much-needed cash for their bassist, Jordan Brunoli, as he undergoes cancer treatment.

Led by local industry groups GRAIN and Sunroom, all the bands will come together for Brunoli, who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer.

The festival, dubbed Saving A Bugs Life: A Fundraising Show For Jordan, will take place at The Tivoli in Brisbane on Saturday, 4 October. With two stages and over 13 performances throughout the day, the Brisbane and Australian music scene alike will display just how powerful community events can be.

Artists raising much-needed funds for Brunoli to help with his specialist appointments, medical treatments, medicines and equipment include BUGS, a DZ Deathrays DJ set, Dear Seattle, Beddy Rays, Sly Withers (acoustic), Hope D, The Buoys, VOIID, TOWNS, Ben David, Talk Heavy, The Steele Syndicate, and Tripsitta.

Plus, RAAVE TAPES, GRAIN DJs, and Mr Sheffield & CC Babcock will provide DJ sets throughout the day.

In addition to the concert – you can find tickets via Ticketmaster – GRAIN will host an epic raffle of prizes, with all donations going towards supporting Brunoli.
