Yungblud’s 2026 Australian tour has just gotten even bigger with the announcement that Dune Rats have been added as special guests.
The Aussie punk rock group experienced their breakthrough with their 2017 album, The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit, which took them to the top of the ARIA Albums Chart and the main stage of festivals such as Splendour In The Grass, Laneway, and Groovin’ The Moo.
Dune Rats have continued to build on that momentum over the years, earning an ARIA Award nomination for their 2022 album, Real Rare Whale. They’ve toured nationally and across the globe, going viral with their cover of The Angels’ Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again for triple j’s Like A Version (performed with The Angels’ Brewster Brothers).
Last year, Dune Rats returned with If It Sucks, Turn It Up, and toured across the country with US punks FIDLAR. With an expansive rock sound and thrilling energy, they’re the perfect opening act for Yungblud.
The IDOLS tour marks Yungblud’s biggest shows in Australia to date, with sold-out shows in Brisbane and Perth, an extra show added in Brisbane, and a venue upgrade in Sydney, showing just how massive the demand is for the British rockstar. Tickets are available via the Frontier Touring website.

Hitting Australia in January 2026, Yungblud’s upcoming tour will be accompanied by the exclusive photography exhibition, YUNGBLUD: IDOLS.
With photos taken by Yungblud’s longtime collaborator, acclaimed British photographer Tom Pallant, fans can experience the exhibition at Behind The Gallery in Newtown from 7 January to 11 January.
Yungblud returns to Australia following the release of his latest album, IDOLS, plus One More Time—his collaborative EP with Aerosmith, which debuted at #1 on four Billboard album charts and #1 in the UK and features a new take on Wild Women featuring country star Lainey Wilson.
