Premiering next week!
A star-studded list of local talent will feature on the upcoming Australian version of Drunk History.
Adapted from the hit US comedy series, Drunk History Australia will premiere via Channel 10 next Thursday, September 10, and will feature musicians, comedians, TV personalities and more, with the likes of Tex Perkins, Susie Youssef and Osher Günsberg confirmed to appear.
As its official synopsis reads, the Aussie take will see “the country’s best-loved comedians retell their favourite stories from our rich and often surprising history, while sipping on their favourite tipple”, while “the hilarious, skewed and anachronistically-challenged anecdotes are re-enacted by a comedy ensemble and some very unexpected faces”.
Australia’s first taste of a local Drunk History came in 2018 via a 30-minute pilot that featured Stephen Curry, Rhys Darby and more.
