Driven Fear announce album, release single

Queensland's Driven Fear have announced their new album, with the local quintet streaming the release's first single.

'Freethinker' marks the band's fourth release with independent label Pee Records, and is available from this February. Having premiered overnight on triple j's Short.Fast.Loud, new single 'In Care Of Pt 2' is now streaming online (listen below).

The aforementioned album was recorded with Sam Johnson (The Smith Street Band, The Bennies, Toe to Toe, Mindsnare).

"With this record, we really wanted to push the boundaries while still being true to what we have always been about. The writing and recording process for this one was a little different, mainly because we had time and we were never going to release anything until we were all happy with the results. We really wanted to record again with Sam because he is so easy to work with as he knows this genre of music inside out and he understands the direction of the band," Chris Hyde comments.

'Freethinker' is due out on February 26. Pre-Orders are available from Pee Records' Online Store.
