Doug Anthony Allstars Bring New 'Near Death Experience' Show To Perth

Canberra-based musical comedy trio the Doug Anthony Allstars are back to premiere their brand new show this October in Perth — Near Death Experience will bring death, sex and horror to stages and a whole lot of laughter.

Original funnymen Paul McDermott and Tim Ferguson are back with long time mentor Paul Livingston, and having already performed at a sold out season at this year's Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the trio will take the show global next year. 

Revolutionising comedy and its limits back in the '80s and '90s, the trio have a cult-like following, leaving a trail of sold-out shows wherever they go.

The trio's press notes warn the show offers "violence, horror themes, sexual references, hypnotism, prescription drug use and extreme conservative values" — be prepared for the night of your life.

They'll be taking to Perth's Regal Theatre on 23 and 24 October, with tickets going on sale on 10 August.
