Australian soul singer Don West has been forced to pull his forthcoming tour dates in the US due to a health setback.
In a post shared on social media last week, the singer revealed that he’d been facing health issues while touring in Europe in September, and upon landing back in Australia, he was admitted to the hospital.
Assuring fans that he’ll make a “full recovery,” West and his team are currently working on rescheduling tour dates for 2026.
“Hey everyone, as some might be aware, I had some health issues arise on tour in Europe that have followed me home,” West wrote on Instagram.
He continued, “I’ve been in hospital since I landed back in Australia and the doctors have advised that I need to remain in their care a little while longer. So unfortunately, I won’t be making it to America.
“Fear not – I will make a full recovery very soon and I cannot wait to get to USA and beyond. My team will begin working on new dates for 2026 that I’ll make sure to share as soon as possible. All tickets to this tour will be refunded at the point of purchase.

“I want to apologise to everyone that bought a ticket and made plans around the shows, I am sorry I couldn’t make it happen.”
He concluded the post, “Thanks everyone for the love and support and I can’t wait to see you all next year. Love, Don.”
The Music hopes Don does indeed experience a speedy recovery.
While his American tour dates have been affected by the setback, West doesn’t tour Australia until December, so local fans shouldn’t have anything to worry about.
Don West’s forthcoming Australian tour is selling fast, with extra dates added in multiple cities alongside his appearances at the in-demand music festivals, Spilt Milk and New Year’s At The Bowl.
West’s upcoming dates also mark his debut Australian headline tour. His latest single, Give Me All Your Love, dropped in September.
