Doc Neeson Estate Seeks Lawyer To Take Down Accused Conman

Generous legal professionals could find themselves in possession of some rare rock memorabilia after the estate of late Angels frontman Bernard Patrick "Doc" Neeson issued an open letter on Facebook in search of a barrister or solicitor to aid them in their legal case against Mark Filby.

According to the estate's post, as well as an exposé broadcast by Channel Nine's A Current Affair in October last year, they accuse Filby of allegedly swindling money from the late rock legend. 

The alleged duping of Neeson includes "deceptive business investments, broken promises and unpaid cash loans" amounting to a loss in the vicinity of $100,000.

The accusations are yet to be examined by the courts.

Although the ACA segment "has greatly aided" the estate's case against Filby, court proceedings are yet to take place. With mounting legal costs behind and ahead of the estate, Neeson's representatives are now seeking a legal professional willing to work pro bono or on a no-win, no-fee basis in exchange for some rare wonders from the Doc Neeson archives.

"Dear Doc Fans; We urgently need your help in finding a Barrister or Solicitor to represent us in our battle to bring Mr. Mark Filby to justice," they wrote. "As some of you may know, we have been trying to catch Mark Filby, who we believe exploited Doc Neeson out of a substantial amount of money.

"Legal costs thus far have cost thousands of dollars but we made a promise to Doc we would see this through to the end."

The message continued, "We are looking for immediate legal representation by either a Barrister or Solicitor who would be happy to work pro bono or on a no win no fee basis in representing the Neeson Estate against Mr. Filby.

"In return, we can offer you some very special items from the Doc Neeson estate: One of Doc's favourite nylon stringed acoustic guitars; A collection of lyric notes Doc used for tour rehearsals; A collection of limited edition Doc Neeson Solo merch CDs and Signed Doc Neeson Acoustic CDs.
