The inaugural run of WA-based music and arts camping festival Disconnect was followed a very public pay dispute between the promoter and talent involved with the event, but after reportedly settling bills in June, the three-day event has revealed this year’s line-up.
Taking over Fairbridge Village in Pinjarra again, Disconnect will deliver a wealth of music, comedy and more from Dec 2-4.
After announcing Japandroids last month, Band Of Skulls, Japanese Wallpaper, Crooked Colours, Shapeshifter and more have been confirmed for the event which promoters say will outshine last year’s efforts.

Chairlift, Band Of Skulls, Japandroids, Shapeshifter, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Yuna, BadBadNotGood, The Bamboos, The Delta Riggs, Japanese Wallpaper, Dustin Tebbutt, KLP (live), Crooked Colours, Dungen, Cass McCombs, Tigertown, Sheer Mag, Son Little, Ali Barter, Polographia, Polish Club, The Tommyhawks, Moana, The Hunting Birds, The Brow, Edde, Mike Tilbrook, Chiara La Woo, Palace, Little Lord Street Band, Jodie Boni, Hannah Mae & The Hoodwinks and more to be announced.
Promoter Chris Knight told The Music in June that he hoped the festival could eventually become a “mini-Glastonbury”.
“It’s all about culture, art and music and people being a bit free…it’s definitely worth another crack,” Knight said.
