Dig It Up! Tour Cancels Adelaide Show

Organisers of the Hoodoo Gurus-curated Dig It Up! Run of shows have pulled the pin on the Adelaide show, citing a busy touring period that has impacted ticket sales.

In a statement this morning organisers said, “A long hot summer packed full of various festive musical activities – A Day On the Green, Nick Cave, Neil Young, Dinosaur Jr, Bruce Springsteen, Adelaide Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival et al – has resulted in a less than desired outcome for the Adelaide leg of Dig it Up 2013, so it is with great regret promoters Feel Presents have decided to pull the pin/count their losses/pull up stumps for the scheduled show.”

The show was to feature Hoodoo Gurus, The Flamin' Groovies and Peter Case at HQ Friday 26 April. Those who had already bought tickets are now being offered two options, the first being a full refund form point of purchase. The second is they can trade their ticket for one to the Melbourne event, which features over 18 acts across three venues and is double the ticket price.

The Melbourne event takes place Thursday 25 April at The Palace Theatre and surrounds, with Hoodoo Gurus, Blue Oyster Cult, Buzzcocks and Flamin' Groovies amongst others.
