With just a few days to go until Delta Goodrem takes to the stage to represent Australia at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, she’s shared the details about her forthcoming album, Pure.

Goodrem’s new album is scheduled for release on Friday, 6 November. The album announcement follows her recent signing to Universal Music via Better Now Records/Electrola, with Universal becoming a “new home” for Delta’s own ATLED Records.

“I am so excited to be stepping into this new chapter and joining forces with Universal Music,” she commented in a statement. “It marks the beginning of a powerful new home for ATLED Records—something I am incredibly proud of—and I can’t wait to share what we create together.”

Speaking on the album, she added, “Pure is an album I’ve been creating and living through over the past few years, and it truly feels like a return to myself and the heart of who I am as an artist.

“It holds some of my biggest sing-alongs, my most vulnerable moments, and brings in all the elements I love most in music—from intimate classical piano pieces to uplifting cinematic anthems. I cannot wait for everyone to step into the world of Pure and make these songs part of their own story too.”

Delta Goodrem will stun Eurovision audiences this week when she represents Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest held in Vienna. Fans can watch her performance live or during a prime-time broadcast.

Goodrem will perform during Semi-Final 2, which begins at 5 am AEST on Friday, 15 May, and replays on Saturday, 16 May, at 7:30 pm AEST. She’s showcasing her epic new song, Eclipse.

Pure is the long-awaited follow-up to her 2021 album, Bridge over Troubled Dreams—Goodrem also released a book of the same name that year.

One of Australia’s most successful and enduring artists, Goodrem has sold over nine million units, thanks to her multi-Gold and Platinum #1 albums. Her landmark 2003 debut album, Innocent Eyes, went 23x Platinum and has garnered billions of streams, and across her career, Goodrem has taken home numerous prestigious awards.

Following the release of Innocent Eyes—which hit #1 in Australia, the UK and Japan and has since become one of the highest-selling albums in Australian history—Goodrem released more #1 albums, 2004’s Mistaken Identity, her 2007 self-titled album, 2016’s Wings of the Wild, and 2021’s Bridge over Troubled Dreams.

Between her music career, Goodrem served as a judge on The Voice Australia for nine years and released her debut fragrance in 2017.
