Shane Adamczak, a designer and visual artist from Perth, Western Australia, runs Cube Boy Collectables, a creative independent company.
Making toys that aren’t for kids, but instead for big kids – adults – with a passion for collecting the strange, each toy made by Adamczak is completely unique.
Adamczak’s latest toy, based on Regurgitator, was created as part of the 2024 Mint On Card Exhibition. Taking to YouTube on Saturday (10 August), the creator shared a “Making Of” video so viewers can see exactly how he brought the exciting toys to life.
Inspired by the band’s music video for Happiness (Rotting My Brain) from the 1999 album, … Art, which finds band members Quan Yeomans, Ben Ely, and Martin Lee dressed in white suits with computers on their heads – their faces in the screens – Adamczak has re-created a classic in toy form.
Established in 2020, Cube Boy Collectables ensures that everything it makes is “designed, sculpted, cast and painted by hand” in Western Australia. Any outsourcing for products such as sticker or badge printing is done by local independent companies.
The company strives to keep its materials environmentally friendly where possible, and packaging is mainly made from recycled and recyclable materials.

Last month, it was announced that Regurgitator would appear on the line-up for the Hotter Than Hell festival, a travelling event that will go across the country with other bands, including Less Than Jake, Unwritten Law, Jebediah, Little Birdy, and more.
In April, Regurgitator released their latest album, Invader, ahead of a national tour with special guests Party Dozen, The Subculture Clique, Displeasure, Monster Zoku Onsomb, and Cry Club.
