Following the release of debut album, Don't Let Go, last Friday, Sydney's Dear Seattle have announced a run of Australian tour dates.

Kicking things off in Brisbane on 17 May at the Woolly Mammoth, the band will then head to Sydney's Oxford Art Factory, Melbourne's The Corner Hotel, Brisbane Hotel in Hobart and Jive Bar in Adelaide before a final show at Jack Rabbit Slims in Perth.

“This album is a reminder that we should never leave our past behind, and instead, understand it, accept it and shape it into something that will help us grow and find greater happiness. You should never forget how you came to be," lead singer Brae Fisher said of the new album, which The Music gave four stars out of five.

Tickets for the run of shows are on sale now. Scroll down to theGuide for all the details.
