Dave Matthews Band Close Bluesfest Day 3 With Rousing 150 Minute Set

Locals Kate Miller-Heidke, John Butler Trio and Lime Cordiale were Day 3 highlights

More Bluesfest Bluesfest Profile

The first of two 150-minute Bluesfest sets by Dave Matthews Band closed Day Three of Bluesfest in such a way that reviewer Cameron Warner declares them "the best option on Monday too."

Other Day Three highlights of the annual blues and roots festival came in the form of local artists Kate Miller-Heidke ("one of the most endearing sets of the festival"), John Butler Trio and newcomers Lime Cordiale ("international success could be within grasp").

Warner was also blown away by second generation Afrobeat artist Sean Kuti: "The musical energy transcends recognition... and becomes something that is felt and experienced without thought."
