It features Jello from Dead Kennedys on vocals

A couple of months on from Teenage Time Killers' inception and first single, Hung Out To Dry, the band featuring Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl, Slipknot's frontman Corey Taylor, Black Flag founder Keith Morris, ex-Queens Of The Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri, Alkaline Trio (and now blink-182) have released their second single — Ode To Sean Hannity.

The song sees Dead Kennedys' Jello Biafra lending his vocals to the song, and Teenage Time Killers' drummer Reed Mullin (of Corrosion Of Conformity) explains that the song stemmed from a poem he once saw John Cleese from Monty Python read on MSNBC.

"I saw John Cleese from Monty Python on an episode of Keith Olbermann’s old MSNBC show a couple years back, where he happened to read his poem Ode to Sean Hannity aloud. It was fucking hilarious — the rhythm, or cadence rather, and biting political comedy sounded just like a song Jello and the Dead Kennedys would have written back in the old days.

"So, when we were getting our original 5 songs together for what later turned into Teenage Time Killers, I put Cleese’s poem to music, asked Jello to sing it, he said ‘yes’ and the rest is history."
