Hot Milk On Touring Australia & Refusing To Sell Out: 'We’re Never Complacent'

Dave Grohl helps out terminally ill fan because he's Dave Grohl

It's hard to hate Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl when he keeps being a pretty top bloke and helps out a terminally ill Perth fan finish his bucket list.

It's hard to hate Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl when he keeps being a pretty top bloke and helps out a terminally ill Perth fan finish his bucket list.

The Perth-based fan in question, Ken Powell (pictured above) was unfortunately diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2009. After an initial meet and great in Perth on the Foo's recent Australian tour was cancelled, he missed out meeting Grohl; one of the items on his bucket list. So he sent the singer a photo in the slight hopes of a response, and when the band heard of his endeavour he received a photo of Ghrol saying "Hi Ken", and reportedly some Foo Fighter souvenirs and VIP tickets to one of their upcoming shows in L.A. with the hope of the two meeting. Powell is currently raising the funds for the trip.

The frontman also stopped their show in Sydney on the tour to give a blind fan to give him one of Taylor Hawkins drumstick.

On ya, Dave.
