Dance Gavin Dance Announce National Tour

US-bred experimental post-hardcore outfit Dance Gavin Dance have announced that they will be heading Down Under for a run of shows this May in support of their sixth full-length album, Instant Gratification.

Kicking off at Last Night, in Perth, on Thursday, 14 May, Dance Gavin Dance will take in shows in Adelaide, Melbourne, Gosford and Sydney on their way through to finish their tour in Brisbane, at the Brightside, on Saturday, 23 May. The band will be joined for all shows except Perth by Melburnian faves Acrasia.

Instant Gratification is the band's second album with co-frontman Tilian Pearson (ex-Tides Of Man), and follows fifth full-length Acceptance Speech (2013). Interestingly, it's the band's first release in eight years to share the same pair of vocalists as its predecessor; the last work to do so — featuring current co-vocalist Jon Mess and former member Jonny Craig — was Downtown Battle Mountain (2007), which followed the Whatever I Say Is Royal Ocean EP (2006).
