Band return to the top of the bill
Melbourne rock stalwarts Dallas Crane are set to play their first headline show since their comeback at Melbourne's The Corner Hotel on Australia Day.
The band announced in September that they were active again, and played their official comeback show at The Espy's New Year's Eve party, which was headlined by Something For Kate.
Now theMusic.com.au can reveal that they're booked to headline a show at the Corner Hotel on Sunday 26 January – Australia Day and the eve of Monday's public holiday. They will be supported by Chris Russell's Chicken Walk and Dirt River Radio. Tickets available here.
The band had been booked to play Sydney's Annandale Hotel on Saturday 25 January, but that venue's closure has forced them to look for another venue.

They have indicated to fans that "big news" will be announced Monday 6 January, so further headline shows may yet be announced.
Dallas Crane started wound up their prolificness in 2010 and 2014 will mark not only their return to headlining shows, but the release of their fifth studio album as well. In April 2011 they headlined a fundraiser at The Tote for their namesake, Melbourne-based family friend Dallas Crane, who was battling with illness.
The first taste of their new record is the single I'm Sorry Darling, which you can stream below:
