Cut Copy Added To Native Tongue Roster

Independent music publishing company Native Tongue have today announced that Australian electro/synth pop act Cut Copy are the latest act to be added to their ever expanding roster.

The deal will see Native Tongue secure the rights for both Australia and New Zealand and will cover all future works, including the band's latest LP Free Your Mind, released in November of last year.

"When Cut Copy released [2004's debut LP] Bright Like Neon Love I was blown away. Ten years on they continue to produce soundtracks to accompany nights out, nights in and everything in between. It's a dream to be working with them on Free Your Mind and beyond." said Native Tongue GM, Jaime Gough about the signing.

The signing comes amidst a flurry of activity for the group, which has included taking on Lorde's catalogue by becoming the Australian and New Zealand sub-publisher for American company SONGS.

Cut Copy are signed to Modular Recordings.
